Algebra - Sketching Functions - The assignment from Wednesday (13-26 Other Function Qualities) was corrected and collected. Students were given a new packet on Sketching Functions with examples and terms. Students read through the packet individually or with a partner and answered questions 1-3 before reviewing and discussing the packet, terms, examples and practice problems as a whole class. NO HW
Pre-Algebra - Square Roots & Cube Roots - With less than half of the students completing the HW (pg 19-20 in the Practice and Problem Solving booklet) time was given in class for the other students to finish while those who were done started on the daily assignment (pg 20-21 in the Instruction booklet). Both assignments are review for the upcoming quiz and both assignments will be reviewed together in class on Friday. HW - finish pg 19-20 in the Practice and Problem solving booklet and pg 20-21 in the Instruction booklet.

7th Grade Science - Scientific Method - Students applied their knowledge about Scientific Method in a class activity in which they had to record evidence from a "Excavation Site", record Observations, make Predictions and Inferences. Students were then given a HW assignment in which they have the option to write a story or draw a comic strip to describe what they think happened based on their observations and predictions. HW - finish story or comic strip
