Algebra - Rate of Change & Initial Value - More problems were modeled on the board as a whole class to demonstrate how to find the Initial Value and Rate of Change of a function over the given interval. The HW problem from Friday was corrected as a class with select students modeling different parts of the solution. Students were called upon one at a time to contribute in solving similar problems. The classwork assignment was given and students had some time in class to work on problems 6, 8-9. HW - finish problems 6, 8-9 if not completed in class.
Pre-Algebra - Properties of Exponents - The quiz from Friday was returned and reviewed as a whole class. Additional practice problems were assigned and students were allowed to work with a partner. The quiz retake will be on Wednesday for all students. HW - finish the practice problems and study for the quiz retake.

7th Grade Science - Metric System - Students finished the assignment from Thursday in the first 5 minutes of class. We reviewed the metric system and conversion of units and then students completed a metric conversion WS in class. NO HW
