Algebra - 5.4 Factoring Quadratics for Zeros - Problems 4-12 were reviewed together. The second portion of this lesson is factoring quadratic functions using the distributive property. Several different problems were modeled as examples and students were asked to take notes. Problems 13-24 were assigned but 6 of the 12 problems were used as examples. Students were given time in class to finish or continue solving the remaining 6 problems. HW - finish problems 13-24 if not completed in class.
Pre-Algebra - Represent Proportional Relationships - Time ran out in discussing pages 108-109 from yesterday so today started finishing our discussion and correction of those pages. Students were given a practice quiz and the rest of class to work on the practice quiz. The Representing Proportional Relationships quiz will be next week. HW - start preparing for the quiz.
7th Grade Science - Evolution - Students took notes on adaptations and mutations before being given the Bird Beak Adaptation Lab and worksheet. Time was given in class to complete the lab and start answering questions. Students will be given time tomorrow to work in class and finish answering questions. NO HW
