Algebra - 5.1 Classify Polynomials - Today we started a new unit, Polynomials and Quadratics. The new lesson, 5.1 Classifying Polynomials is an introduction to Polynomials. Students will be able to identify what a polynomial is and is not and classify them by their degree and number of terms. Together we went over examples and vocabulary. Several problems were modeled before students were asked to complete problems 1-9 from the packet. NO HW
Pre-Algebra - Graphing Functional Relationships - Class began with a review of pages 103-104 from last Thursday. Together the problems from the Instruction booklet pages 88-89 were modeled and discussed as a whole class before students were assigned pages 105-106 from the Practice and Problem Solving book. HW - finish 105-106 if not completed in class.
