Algebra - 3.3 Solving Systems of Equations By Elimination - Problems 15-30 were collected and graded. Students were given the daily assignments, Solving Systems of Equations by Elimination WS problems 1-12 and given instruction to solve the systems of equations using which ever method they prefer, substitution, graphing or elimination. HW - finish 1-12 if not completed in class.
Pre-Algebra - Compare Functions - Pages 60-61 in the Ready Math Instruction booklet were reviewed at the beginning to class before students were given the daily assignment, pages 73-74 in the Practice and Problem Solving booklet. HW - finish pgs 73-74 if not completed in class

7th Grade Science - Compounds - The reading guide from Tuesday was checked for completion and then reviewed as a class. Following the review students were instructed to keep the reading guide for future reference. The daily assignment was given, a group project (students were allowed to select their own groups of 2-3) in which each group was given a short list of vocabular words. Groups will be responsible for creating a poster to list, define and draw a picture of the vocabulary words to present to the rest of the class. NO HW
