Algebra - 3.4 Solving Systems of Equations By Inspection - Students were given a new packet with terms, examples and homework. Students were instructed to highlight the Solution Steps on page 2 to reference while completing homework. Sample problems were modeled on the board and students were encouraged to copy them down step by step as examples, including taking notes on identifying the ratio of coefficients. Problems 1-3 from the packet were solved together before assigning problems 4-6 for students to work on individually. NO HW - if completed in class
Pre-Algebra - Compare Functions - Students were given the entire period to finish the Semester 2 Pre-Test from yesterday and make sure pages 62-63 from the Ready Math Instruction booklet are completed prior to class tomorrow. NO HW

7th Grade Science - Compounds - Two worksheets (Organic and Inorganic Compounds and Chemical Compounds WS) from a week or two ago when a substitute was in class were reviewed and corrected together. Students should hang on to these worksheets for future reference. Students were then given the Chapter 3 Section 3 reading guide, Photosynthesis 3.3 WS to complete in class as they read pages 86-90 in the classroom text. NO HW
