Algebra - 2.4 Solving Linear Equations - The quiz from yesterday was reviewed at the beginning of class. A new lesson and packet was provided and students were asked to take the first 10 minutes of class to review the packet and look at examples and then try to solve problems 1 & 2. Solving these equations will first require students to combine like terms. Problems 1 & 2 were modeled on the board along with problems 3 & 4. Students were assigned problems 5 & 6 to attempt on their own for HW. HW - finish problems 5 & 6 if not completed in class.
Pre-Algebra - Scientific Notation - Page 35-36 from the Ready Math Practice and Problem Solving booklet was assigned. Students were given the entire class period to work on the assignment and ask questions. HW - finish page 35-36 if not completed in class.

7th Grade Science - Classification - Today was the last day students had time in class to conduct research on their epidemic PSA. They should have started working on their mini-poster and project (skit, poem, play, song, etc.) NO HW
